Education Programs

Educating Spouses, Partners, Families and the General Public

Educational Materials
Provide TBI/PTS educational materials for spouses and families that explain the symptoms they will see in their Veteran and the future role they will play is critical in supporting Veterans suffering from invisible wounds.  Awareness and education are essential tools in seeking life changing healing. PTS is a silent, allusive and destructive killer that is not satisfied taking the soul of just the Veteran. It is a greedy enemy who wishes to consume and destroy the entire family.

Prioritizing the need for military support to Spouses and Families assisting their role in the Veteran's transition to civilian life.

Getting information into the hands of spouses, partners and families prior to facing the inevitable consequences of war and the return home of the Veteran will help prepare them for their new role increasing the chances that they, their Veteran and their families can avoid becoming a statistic.

Distribution of TBI and PTS information and resources directly to those closest to our Veterans immediately upon their return home would positively impact the lives of the Veterans but equally important, their spouses and families. Providing information and education that honors the families' sacrifices creates the best possible circumstances in which their returning loved one can thrive.  Hearts of Patriots believes the best way to help Veterans suffering from PTS and TBI is to prepare the spouse by helping increase their understanding of what the Veteran
 is experiencing.

THE EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTARY

The purpose of the film is to educate the general public, making them more aware of the long term devastating consequences of war faced by our Veterans and their families. It is also a story of hope, honoring and validating the sacrifice of the family while providing Spouses of Veterans information that is available to assist them with their own struggles.
