HEARTS OF PATRIOTS
LORAIN COUNTY CHAPTER
We are pleased to announce Lorain County as the first of future Chapters across the country supporting veteran families where they live. Hearts of Patriots will continue to serve PTSD combat veteran families nationally with our regular programs.
Hearts of Patriots proudly recognizes the sacrifices made by Lorain County combat veteran spouses and their families in support of their wounded warrior.
But too many families are falling through the cracks and they deserve the help of our community. Now you can change the lives of our community's military caregivers and their families.

HEARTS OF PATRIOTS
RECEIVES AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT
(ARPA) FUNDS

Hearts of Patriots works closely with the Veteran Service Commission and other agencies to make sure we are not duplicating services. HOP does not provide support for Basic financial emergencies that are available through other  agencies. HOP will consider all requests in circumstances that are outside the agencies' eligibility requirements.

The City of Elyria has awarded Hearts of Patriots a $10,000 ARPA grant. The funds will provide financial assistance to Elyria City military family residents that help improve the quality of life supporting programs or opportunities that are limited when basic needs take priority.
Hearts of Patriots will prioritize scholarships for military kids to participate in enrichment programs their families are not financially able to support. Where there is a financial need, other requests will be considered.

About Hearts of Patriots
When veterans return suffering from PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, or both, their transition into civilian can be especially difficult.  Co-founded by the wife of a Marine who served in Iraq, Hearts of Patriots understands the challenges faced by caregivers of veterans with invisible wounds of war.
