AdOPT A VET CAREGIVER FOR THE HOLIDAYS

ADOPT A VET SPOUSE FOR THE HOLIDAYS
And Help a Struggling Veteran's Family for the Holidays

Sadly, many of our Veteran families live on a tight budget and putting together Christmas or other winter holiday can be both challenging and stressful.  Your donation will help ease that stress. Along with your donation, each Caregiver will also receive a personal gift on your behalf from Hearts of Patriots.  You can make a difference in the lives of our Veteran Caregivers and their families by joining us in letting them know their family's service and sacrifice have not been forgotten.

A gift in any amount can help a struggling family through the holidays this season.

SPONSOR FAQ's

Below is a list of commonly asked questions to familiarize yourself with the program. If this does not answer your questions, please feel free to contact Denise Weller at denise@vetsouse.org or Megan Cain at megan@vetspouse.org.
Can I sponsor on behalf of a GRouP, Business, Church or Community Organization?
Yes, absolutely. On the Form please used the name and contact information of the person representing your group.
Can I choose the amount of my donation?
Yes. You can choose to adopt one or two Caregivers, or you may choose a family. If you want to participate at a lower donation you can choose this on the form and your donation will be combined with other generous donors to a adopt one spouse. Hearts of Patriots will provide you with information on the caregiver.
Will I know anything about the Caregiver and family that I adopt?
Yes! Once we have paired you with a Caregiver, we will send you information and if possible photos.  Following the Holidays, Hearts of Patriots will send a follow up to you including messages and holiday photos of the veteran's family you were paired with.
Can I specifiy the location of the caregiver?
Our caregivers come from across the US and we cannot guarantee you will be paired with a Caregiver in your community.
how are the veteran caregivers SCREENed?
Caregivers are screened for participation in our Adopt a Caregiver for the Holidays program. Proof of service and disability are validated before a caregiver becomes eligible for adoption.
