(Do I need to qualify based on government poverty guidelines) You do not have to meet the standards of government poverty guidelines to receive help from this grant. HOP recognizes that the extras frequently considered non-essential contribute to the quality of life. When finances are tight or unexpected expenses arise, "these extras" are eliminated. When children do not engage in regularly scheduled activities as described above, their social, emotional, and academic growth are often impaired, negatively impacting them. Activities such as music, dance, art, and sports are vital to the child's quality of life and overall well-being. Examples of Grant requests
