Join Our Ranks as a Hearts of Patriots Caregiver Member

We are all stronger together. With more than 200 caregiver members, Hearts of Patriots provides boots on the ground support to spouses of veterans with PTSD, a Traumatic Brain Injury or both. We are committed to ensuring that no spouse is ever left behind in their journey as caregiver.

We offer PTSD and TBI educational materials for spouses and families that explain the symptoms they can expect in their veteran and the future role they will play is critical in supporting veterans suffering from invisible wounds.  Awareness and education are essential tools in seeking life changing healing. PTSD is a silent, allusive and destructive killer that is not satisfied taking the soul of just the veteran. It is a greedy enemy who wishes to consume and destroy the entire family.

Sign up now to become a member Hearts of Patriots family of caregivers or get started by checking out our helpful Resource Directory. Please note: This program is not associated with the VA Caregiver program and you may participate in our program regardless of your VA status.

Special Events
Caregiver Appreciation Spa Day - Those close to service members are all too familiar with both the invisible and visible wounds that come with war. With those injuries come daily stress and other challenges which can sometimes be unbearable. Our Spa Day is an opportunity for Hearts of Patriots and our community to show support for the amazing individuals who stand by our heroes.

Family Retreats - All retreats are free of charge and include all meals.  Hearts of Patriots' retreat focuses on the caregiver believing they are central to the family unit and the ability to, along with their wounded Veteran, work together to find a new normal.  In an effort to strengthen marital and family bonds the retreats provide programs/activities and fun for the spouse/partner, Veteran and family. Our goal is to offer both relaxation and education so they may gain a better understanding of PTSD, learn coping skills, and how to move forward together.
