Ways the Community Can Help Veteran Families

BUSINESSES

You determine the number of services your business will make available for donation to a Lorain County veteran family in need.
Examples of Business Donations:
AUTOMOTIVE -Tune-ups, Auto Repair, Service or maintenance
HOME - Home Appliance donation or repair, House Painting, Home Repair, Electrical and Plumbing
Electronics -  Waived Service Fees, Maintenance or discounted Computers, Printers, or other items.

CORPORATIONS

Sponsor an Annual HOP Veteran Program
You can make a Corporate Gift to sustain one of our Veteran Family programs.
  •  Adopt a Vet Spouse or Family for the Holidays Program
A gift of $2500 sustains this program allowing HOP to connect members of the community with 25-35 Veteran Spouses or Families. The sponsoring community member commits to contributing to the holiday meal and to purchasing gifts for the Veteran Caregiver or for the Family.
  • Caregiver Respite Program
A gift of $5000 sustains this unique program that supports and validates the sacrifice of combat veteran PTSD/TBI veteran spouses. The one-year membership program provides 10-15 PTSD/TBI combat veteran spouses/families with random gifts of kindness or respite opportunities.
Respite Examples:
  • Date Night + Babysitter
  • Spa Day
  • Cedar Point Family outing
  • Weekend Gate-a-Way
  • Donation of any amount
A Donation or Sponsorship to Hearts of Patriots of any amount supports our mission and ability to continue serving veteran families.
